Perro are docile farm animals seen in both Phoenotopia and Phoenotopia: Awakening, similar to Pooki. Their appearance resemble real-life chickens, and they also lay Perro Eggs that serve as Consumable Items, healing a small amount of health upon consumption.

In Phoenotopia[]

Perro are livestock whose eggs are commonly used as food. However, there is no mention of using Perro's produce besides Perro Egg, unlike Puki where its meat is sliced and seasoned in Puki Kebab and its hides are used in making Leather Vest.

In Panselo, a Perro can be found wandering into the store whom is later named as "Lucky Jr". Additionally, Adar also keeps a pair of Perro and Puki around his house, and there is a woman in Daea who refers her Perro as a high-pedigree parrot as well.

In Phoenotopia: Awakening[]

Perro serve similar purposes as they have in the original game, and the Consumable Item House Soup also mentions inclusion of Perro stock as ingredients.

In addition, Perro are now entities that can be interacted with, rather than NPC like in the original game. Nesting perro can be hugged for a free egg, while attacking them too much would lead to them flying away to flee, where they would also drop damaging excretion to any pursuer.

Groups of Perro can be found in Panselo Village at the beginning and in Cosette Village. A number of lone Perro scattered around the world are also a type of collectibles, which can be found usually in a hidden location of each "chapter" of the story. When all six Perro are found and sent to the coop back in Panselo Village, they "become happy" and two Golden Eggs would spawn next to them every once in a while.

Trivia[]

  • In Spanish, "perro" actually means "dog", so their name are translated into "píos" instead
  • In one of the logs in E.D.E.N, Perro are described to be more delicious than regular chickens, implying the existence of regular chickens in ancient time
