Moonlight Ravine is a new area in Phoenotopia: Awakening, serving similar purposes to the Misty Gorge in Phoenotopia. It connects the Atai Region and Daea Region, and thanks to the less rapid currents here, this area serves as an alternative to travel between the two regions besides crossing the Kingdom Bridge.
Description[]
Moonlight Ravine is home to pink trees that are exclusive to this area and not seen elsewhere in Castella. The Lune Fruits they produce might be a local specialty that gives this place its name.
At the south pier is a shop that sells fishing equipment and fish-related food. A fishing expert can also be found next to a campfire, offering tips for the fishing mechanic.
At the north pier resides a martial artist named Kiyoshi. While she is unable to teach Gail any Technique, she offers to share the valuable combat trick "Ukemi" and movement trick "roll-cancel" at a cost of 20 RIN instead.
In each pier there is a ferryman that would take you to the other pier for a service fee of 10 RIN. That being said, the ferryman in the north pier will also give you a free ride if you are short on money.
Events[]
After the destruction of Kingdom Bridge by the Ouroboros Bandits, this area becomes the only means to travel between Atai Region and Daea Region. As such, traffic through the ravine has substantially increased, to the point that one may need to sign up one week in advance just to use the ferry service to get across.
As such, Gail is forced to take drastic action and swim across the ravine herself, fighting her way through aquatic foes living in and by the water. Little does she know that the ferryman's brother soon returns with haste upon hearing the news, and thus the traffic is cleared by the time she arrives at the north pier. The ferry service becomes available from that point forth.

At the south pier, the Troubadours can be seen stopping by after Gail financially supported them in Franway - Atai. She may donate another 40 RIN to help them continue their journey to Daea City, but this is not the last time they would need help.
In the middle of the ravine is a couple having a boat date. The boyfriend has unfortunately forgotten to bring along any gift, as well as the fact that today is actually the 1st year anniversary of their relationship. Bring him Chocolate and then Pearl Ring, and he will offer 30 RIN for each, as well as the Moonlight Perfume for you to continue the Trading Sequence.
At the north pier is the energetic athlete Bo whom you have previously met in Atai Town. Once again, he offers a running course here to promote the art form of "free running", and completing it will reward you with 40 RIN this time.

- The atmosphere of Moonlight Ravine is likely inspired by the oriental-style, with some of the NPCs' clothing resembling kimonos and bamboo hats
- There is evidence of merfolk having once inhabited the ravine. Besides the Lunar Crown and Lunar Trident, manmade structures and statues depicting humanoids with fish tails can also be seen
- Players can visit this area before obtaining the Lifesaver, but they cannot go further past the first screen, and the track Home (Mr. Eldwin's Penguins) is played instead
