Achievement

Achievements in Phoenotopia and Phoenotopia: Awakening are used for recording feats that players have achieved in their journey. They have no practical use, and do not contribute directly towards 100% Completion.

There is a total of 30 different achievements in Phoenotopia listed on the Newgrounds website. The achievements are based on the browser cookies as well as user accounts on Newgrounds.

Achievements have returned in Phoenotopia: Awakening in the form of 33 different Badges. They can be view in-game in the Badge menu, but are tied to individual save file this time.

While some have similar objectives to certain achievements from the original game, many Badges are tied to new features added in this game. Each Badge also features a unique frame and the photo of a character relevant to the Badge objective in some ways.

While "Zero Trial" does not allow players to collect any Heart Ruby or Energy Gem, Moonstones and subsequently tools provided by Thomas can be used
- Moreover, Special Techniques can also be used, so learning Spear Bomb in preparation for the fight against the final boss is advisable
When the "Speed Runner" Badge is obtained, the "boss conquered" sound effect will play. This is the only Badge in the entire game that does this
In Phoenotopia: Awakening, if players are to obtain all the Badges in a single file, they are required to complete the majority of the game with only the base amount of health and energy, as well as reaching the final save point under a time limit of 4 hours. This is considered to be the hardest challenge by many
