Guardian Constructs (or just Constructs for short) are a new type of enemy appearing in Phoenotopia: Awakening, designed specifically to guard E.D.E.N from intruders who made it past the SPHERE's defenses. They pursue Gale by running and flying after her, and are also equipped with a few weapons. They can attack with grenade launchers and beam sabers when on the ground, and shoot lasers when flying. They only flinch from strong attacks, such as a charged attack or a spear bomb.

- The Guardian Construct's name was chosen through an official naming contest[1][2], as has been done with many other enemies in the game.
